    having a bit of issues.

    I'm installing d20 pro on my new computer. I paid for the license long ago. Everytime I try to log in I get a handshake error that talks about server time and to check my computer clock (which is correct). It won't let me log in.

    What about the date on your computer?
    Can you take a screenshot of the Communication Error Window and post it here?

    Re: Old lincense new computer

    This is _usually_ caused by having Java_7 ...

    You'll need to point d20pro specifically to Java_6

    edit the icon properties on you desktop to something like this;
    you can also use the batch file in the d20pro dir if you like...

    shortcut tab
    target:
    "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -Xmx1280m -Dsun.java2d.ddoffscreen=false -Dsun.java2d.noddraw -Dsun.java2d.d3d=false -DBypassJavaVersionCheck=true -jar d20Pro.dat

    **note, you may need to tweak Xmx variable to suit your ram

    start in;
    "C:\Program Files\MindGene\d20Pro"

    **Note, you may need to adjust the path statements to suit your install.

    should fix you up :)

    Then Update your clock/time.

    Then try again.

    Thanks.

    Actually, do as edwardcd suggests, and then set your timezone back to normal. See this post for what "might" be causing your error:

    http://forums.d20pro.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=404#p1892

    Note: The article that that post references is talking about Windows XP, but it may still be a problem on Win7 as well, I'm not sure.

    If that doesn't work, post back or PM me and we'll figure this out.
