    Hey everyone,

    We are considering doing live Q&A sessions at regular intervals. These would be similar to the idea of Reddit’s AMA ( “Ask Me Anything”) sessions.

    We want to get feedback to gauge interest and get your suggestions on how to best go about managing and hosting these sorts of events.

    Our thoughts so far:
    * Bi-weekly schedule or once a month

    * One-hour sessions (max two hours)

    * VOIP preferable

    * Screen-sharing options required (for us, not the users)

    * One-click client access or simple use for users and free to use

    * Use of common, specific applications, such as Skype, Google Hangouts, Facebook Live, etc.

    * Pre-submitted questions so users can have their specific questions ready ahead of time (and we can respond with our own research if necessary)

    * “Open Floor” Question sessions where we respond to any reasonable questions.

    * Limit floor time to 10 minutes, if the issue requires more in depth explanation or tutorial arrange separate meeting for a 1-1 session.

    * Sessions with alternating members of the team, Community manager and a dev, marketing or content creation team member etc.

    Please add to or offer any suggestions you might have.
    We are pretty excited about doing this and hope it will be a success and something the community looks forward to.

    I think we have settled on Google Hangouts as a medium. Can we gets some ideas of topics people would like to raise during the first session?

    1- Roadmap of D20Pro for the current kickstarter goals. I know it was said most of it would be delivered by this year end, but let's face it, the DM jinxed that wish :p So what would be the more realistic roadmap?
    2- Any way we can help with #1? I'm talking mostly about data files the community could start to create for rules system.
    2- Best way to use the new shadowcasting and lights and current limitations of the system that we should be aware of so we can avoid slowdown? (This might be better suited for a tutorial later on though)

    Some details on the feature library. How it's coming along. aspects that won't make it in initial release, but will be in 3.7.x? Another gif of video teaser on the interface please?

    We've been asking for Community assistance and volunteers for a while now.. Announcements Thread

    As to the other questions, we can certainly theorize on aspects of those, but realistically each portion of that brings up it's own issues and hurdles (some small and some huge), there really is no way to give solid timelines on that until the portion is looked at in depth and work is started on that portion. To do so would be unfair to everyone concerned and create even more ill will in the community.

    Shadowcasting is a good example of that, in that initial dates were not met because of unforeseen technical issues in implantation, that had to be re-examined and tweaked after the bulk of the coding work had been completed.
