Fog of War cut-out?

    Someone posted a tutorial once on how to cover the map and cut out the rooms, hallways etc.

    Can anyone help out and post a link to that please?

    To be more specific, the user had covered the entire map in FOW, then divided the FOW into separate sections using a tool and method I can't seem to recall.
