Effects that add to all skills and ability checks

    In the old 3.6 ability system there were fields to enter a bonus to all skills at once. Does something similar exist in the new 3.7 stuff? Defining an effect for each skill individually is a bit tedious and crowds up the mini effects window a lot.

    Yeah, using the Feature system for such an operation would be burdensome on that system (especially to all skills). You could use the 'Misc' column on skills (skills tab) to have the player adjust their numbers accordingly there.

    Skill modification via Features is really intended for Short-term (Duration: 5 Rounds, Duration 10 minutes) effects. While you -can- do infinite Effects, I would be extremely conservative doing that. Those Effects have to be checked against, for every single token on the board, every single action a token makes, every single round.

    There are several short term spells in Pathfinder such as Prayer (a +1 luck bonus) and Heroism (a +2 morale bonus) that grant said bonus to all skills simultaneously. Asking the player to go down the skills list and change every single skill "Misc" column seems like a tedious task, only to change them back minutes later (Prayer is 1 round per caster level duration). Making a feature/spell that buffs all the skills individually is challenging to fit on the flow diagram, maybe I might use the triggering of a batch of other features and make 1 per skill, but that still seems like a bit of a chore.

    realistically we need an 'All' option in the skill selection box/node.
