3.7.5 : advanced fog of war causing serious slow down and lag

    Is this a common issue? The program will run fine for me, and 3 other users at once, but as soon as I try to implement light sources it will bog down to become next to unusable.

    there are tons of these errors logged.

    wow here is one I have never seen before (pretty rare)

    I'll ask @owbear to have a look at this and see if he can offer any advice.
    My gut says it's wasting a huge amount of cycles trying and failing to decrypt images.

    Any update on this? I have this issue as well. Painfully slow on a powerful PC.

    3.7.6 alleviates most of the FOW lighting and lag issues as far as I am aware.

    Ends up the fog of war wasn't responsible. the release planned for this week should resolve these issues and more!
