    Hey,

    Question......

When I set an image or map does it reference that image's original file location or does it create a new image file entirely???

I only ask because if I move the images I don't want them to erase from D20Pro......alot of time put into image related stuff and all.......

I am 99% sure that it creates a new file of a new type specifically for d20pro.

So I can re-arrange the original images without screwing them up in D20Pro?

    Hail and well met cyderak,

When you target an existing image file, for either a new Map, Creature or Item it will copy the file into the appropriate res subfolder (CTR, FLR, or ITEM). So the original file will be separate.

Once an image has been copied into a res subfolder it is assigned an ID by d20Pro and it's important not to rearrange those files or the IDs will get scrambled (and you'll see red ? in d20Pro).

You should be able to move the original images around though as only the copies are used by d20Pro. After importing an image, take a look inside the appropriate res subfolder and you should find the copy of the original file.

Note that if you import an image from the clipboard it will create a file in the res system.
