I'm not sure if this is a support request or a feature request. ;)

Is there any way to anchor a template to a specific character's icon? I have a template that I use to represent a torch or light spell. I'd like to be able to tie that to the character carrying the light source and have that move with the character.

Is this possible? If not, I'll add it to the list of feature requests. :)

    Thanks!

Indicating Light Sources on a Character

You can add the following Status Icons into the status.zip file located at: ...MindGene\d20Pro\judge\campaigns\(my campaign name)\res\ManuallySpecified

Then change the status icons for the characters holding the light sources. This way you will know how to remove the fog of war.

    Enjoy!

So this would just indicate what kind of light source the character is holding? And you'd have to think, "OK, a torch has an X foot radius," and remove the fog of war appropriately.

Actually it would be X feet of full like and then X feet again of dim light (or shadowy).

Just how do you get the light status icons from the net to my computer. There is no attachment link, and nothing on the pictures to click on. Help!

Save each image and then copy/paste it in the status zip file.

However, having the ability to move templates with characters would be cool. Not just for light radius, but also for spells that move with the character, like magic circle against evil, etc.

Yes, this would be a nice feature.

Here's how it could be implemented....

    Could name this "glow"
Have a radiating glow from the character X units (such as 5ft or 30ft or any user defined units)
User selectable color that has a low opacity so you can see terrain and other characters on the map.

Looks like this has already been addressed in the Feature Requests section of the forums
