Having trouble connecting to the verification server...

    I am having a similar issue to some of the others in the past. I tried to install the program and download a free trial, only to repetitively get an error when I try to click the free trial "Judge" button. It keeps snagging while trying to connect to the authentication server, and does not progress any further (so it doesn't download the trial).

    I am also running Java 1.7.0, and I noted you guys said there were some issues running it. Could this be causing it? Any assistance would be helpful. Thanks. :)

    The error reads:

    License not recognized.
    Error communicating with the Trial Verification Server. URL: http://216.17.194.90/license/lvs, details - Response code: 200, Response msg: OK, Data msg:
    Caused by: Error Talking to servlet: http://216.17.194.90/license/lvs
    Caused by: sun.net.www.http.HttpClient.setTimeout(I)I.

    Hi papasmurf5, I've replied to your support email. It'll probably be easier to troubleshoot this issue through email but I'll try and post a solution back to this thread when we're done in case others run into the same problem you are having.
