It's great to have URI links in markers and globally (thanks for the how-to on that edwardcd). But, there are sooooo many great sound effects in Syrinscape, sometimes even the global link isn't fast enough or convenient enough.

Could URI links be added to Spells or attacks or even movement? Maybe tie it in to the status markers too?

Examples, if someone is sneaking, and they have the Stealthy (or any relevant status) on their token, when they move their token, the assigned URI auto plays. There are some cool 'Tip Toe' and other sneaking sounds.

Casting a spell, the host can supply URI links to players that can then add them to a spell when they are setting up the effects (or save it when saving spell effects so it remembers for each time). Or the GM can change it with one of their own links once the spell is submitted to them (if they wanted a different sound effect) Then once the GM confirms the casting, the sound auto plays.

This same thought could be added to individual weapons on tokens. This could be a little more complex though, in that you could customize it for sounds when you Miss, Hit, Hit vs Flesh, Hit vs Leather, Hit vs Metal, Hit vs Stone.... and so on. Or just keep it simple with a single miss and single hit sound.

Also, if someone is submitting a link, the GM should be able to play that sound locally, to know what was submitted before confirming it.

You already have the system playing sounds for hits, misses, healing, damage. So would replacing that system be too difficult?
