Cyderdak how much did that table set you back man. That would be something I'd seriously start saving up for as I'd love to get a little more serious into Roleplaying and would love something like that as a resource. so Let me know how much it set you back just with software and building costs

    Arturis......

Well, all said over 2 years about $1200.

    Thats because I used:
-- Oak.....You could use Presswood or a cheaper wood like Plywood or something.
--High Definition Projector........you could just buy a cheap projector off ebay.
--Steel braces.......Again I wanted to go a little more quality so you could just brace the book shelves with 2x4's
--Wii-Mote.........Can't really sub for this one.
--Over-Sized Brass cup holders.......You could get smaller cup holders or cup holders made out of a cheaper material or just go without cup holders.
--Plexi-Glass screen.......I went 1/4 inch thick beacuse I wanted it to be able to support my Collossal Red Dragon but you could use 1/8 inch thick.
--Brass Footrails......I've yet to attach them to the table but thats in the near future and you could just go without those.

Any other questions my e-mail is: cyderak@yahoo.com

    Later.

No kidding only 1200 hmm. Well to say the least I am very impressed with how it turned out. One of these days I will have to save up the cash and build one of them bad boys myself!

    Kudos Cyderak!

Regarding the first setup with the wall projector:

    Questions:

Are you using two PCs: One PC with Player screen and the projector and the other the GM Machine hosting the session?

    Yes.

The Player client should be used with the Projector computer. That way you can utilize the Fog of War and other features of the D20Pro Player Client more effectivly.

I'm using the same laptop and screen projector connected with Extended Desktop activated in windows

Then i start d20pro.bat 2 times, 1 GM client and 1 Guest client (connect to "yourservername" at address 127.0.0.1) , then your GM windows will see your own Guest and propose to broadcast the game.

I then put my Guest screen on the extended desktop (which is the projector)

    And voila.

I move all pc's in the GM screen as per my players instructions.

That is what I needed to know about (two instances of the app running on one machine).

I was curious if the two instances conflicted with each other due to any shared file access issues.

Good to know that you don't have to invest in two machines!!

    :D

It isnt an issue, because the GM client uses C:\...\d20pro\judge folder files
and the Player client uses C:\...\d20pro\player folder files
