    Hey guys,

I want to add a "new trait" can someone give me a step by step?

Let say I want to add "Multiattack" as a trait in the traits tab. No matter what I do I cant get this trait to show up.

    added to the feats.TXT as:
    Generic| -Multiattack
    or
    Generic| -Amphibious

None appear to select. So then I made a Traits .txt and added:
    Generic| -Multiattack
    Generic| -Amphibious

    Nothing shows...help

okay- I figured it out and let this be some advice to others.

after I upgraded to the new version. I change my installation directory.

I had two installations of D20pro and I was updating the old files not the new installation.

Once I discovered my problem its all working now.

Only help I need now is where the descriptions are for traits stored. So I don't have to manually add this traits description to each creature every time.

lastly were can I remove Feats ( traits)?

and I noticed feats are automatically pulled in for the set class. How do you stop that?

Traits can be found in the Features Library->Traits

So everything is done through the Rules Library, if you are using 3.7.1.

    trait1.png
    So select the Rules library.

    trait2.png
Then select the trait Library and press the create button. Double click the "new trait" you created to see

    trait3.png
You can fill these fields out, naming your feat/trait, the source its from (homebrew, a books, etc), the level a character needs to be to be able to have it, the catagory you want it to sort to in the traits tab of the character sheet. The big white box is for any descriptive text, any mechanics explanation you want. Here's an example.

    trait4.png
Then you hit "ok" to save the trait.

    trait5.png
Open a creature token, go to traits tab and press "add". Find the trait you want and hit "ok" to add it to the creature token, then apply the changes to the creature.

    trait6.png
When someone clicks on the magnifiying glass, they'll see the text description of the trait.

    Hope that helps.
