Hey guys, was impressed by the showing at Dragon*Con, specifically the Kobold's Revenge game that I had a chance to play. This looks like it is exactly what I need to play with a few friends that are located in other states. I tried the demo for a day, and was impressed enough that I bought it today.

The only request I'd have would be a users manual of some sort. I recall from the convention that the game handles a lot of the calculations and things behind the scenes, however, I'd feel more comfortable knowing a little more about that, for example, in setting up a bite attack for a War Troll, I'm hoping it won't automatically attempt to use the strength bonus for damage, a bite only gets half the bonus (+5 vs +10). I'll end up taking a look at some of the other critters you've pre-entered, but information on the tool in regards to this (and I'm certain a few other questions will arise) would save testing and allow more progress in actual adventure preparation.

    Thanks!

We do have a wiki that acts as our user's manual. http://wiki.d20pro.com/?t=anon

As for your trolls bite attack, when you look at an attack on the far right there is a drop down box that selects between: One handed, two handed, and off hand. In the case of the trolls bite you would select off hand. So if his strenght bonus was +10 it would only apply the +5 to damage.

Ah, okay, thanks! I'll check out the wiki and I do appreciate the off-hand damage pointer.

    Hi,

Just a note though, the Wiki has not been updated this summer. We added 2 new conventions to our plate this year, Origins and GenCon. While these cons were MacDaddy, it took away some time to update the new features. If you run into a snag on anything, feel free to ask here. Most of us can walk you through something via the forums, if not, someone can meet up on Skype with you and resolve any issue you may have.

    Happy Gaming and enjoy!!!!

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. Are you new to D&D itself or just virtual tabletop software? d20pro is a game aid, not a game itself, so it helps you with running your D&D game. Perhaps you could give us a specific problem and we could help you more effectively.
