Well theres two different kinds of touch screen.
1.)Actual Touch Screen - Heres a link to an article where Maximum PC Magazine actually built a Multi-Touch Screen Computer. Touch of a finger does it all. This article has all the links to all the appropriate sites that will help you build a touch screen table computer. I will tell you that it is a very time consuming project. Very Tedious. Heres the link: http://www.maximumpc.com/article/featur ... e_computer

2.)Smartboard setup - This version (Which I have integrated into my Game Table) works like a classroom smartboard. The software I use is Smoothboard.
Heres the link: http://www.smoothboard.net/ This is the software that maps out the area that will recieve the signal from a Wii remote.

The Wii remote then recieves the signal from a infra-Red pen that works like a Mouse. The software that allows your computer to communicate to the Wii-Mote is called Blue Soleil.
    Heres the link: www.bluesoleil.com

I opted for the second option because its easier than the first.

Heres the link to where I got the inspiration for my game table and detailed instructions how to build it: http://tyrendes.wordpress.com/

I did upgrade from that guys table by opting for a classier look and hardier materials. I used oak and I have artistic friends who are painting up side panels in fantasy art styles.

    Very nice.

Which projector did you go with?

Also, which type of Plexiglas, did you go with the Plexiglas Hi-Def acrylic?

    I used this projector:

And I just went to a local hardware store and bought 1/4" thick plexi-glass and they cut it to a 3' x 3' sheet for me.

in retrospect I wish I would have done a widescreen, rectangular shape to the plexi-glass sheet.
