If you guys are like me, the majority of your sessions are dominated with the tedious nature of researching applicable effects and entering them into D20 Pro.
When dealing with a low level, standard party sized group of adventures this goes relatively unnoticed. However as the levels progress and the intricacies of abilities can prevent the inevitable TPK, the burden of facilitating these options can cripple the DM.
I have created two assistant DM's to aid in my fabled endeavor to please my adventuring hooligans. For some reason, mishaps occur when trying to save spell effects the conventional way.

One Assistant DM handles all spells (Un). They can be found in abilities, and are split into the following categories:
    1: Offensive Damage 2: Healing 3: Buffs 4: Non-Damage Offensive.
You will find the spell description in Description and the spell's specifications in the Notes tab. All the base effects are in place (damage type, save type etc), so all that you have to input is the variable effects (increased damage due to caster level, effect duration, save DC etc). After playing around with it for 10-15mins you should grasp what I'm on about.

His fellow DM (Il) handles combat specific effects. Again these effects can be found in abilities in the following categories:
1: Combat Effects (Grappled, Frightened, Prone etc)
2: Combat Expertise, Deadly Aim and Power Attack
3: Druid's Wild Shaping Abilities (Elemental, Undead and Plant traits shall be added in a future update to the description visible in Active Effects)
4: Class Abilities (Cleric's Channel Energy, Barb's Rage, Bard's Inspire Courage etc)

The handiest thing I've found to date (Apart from the huge time saving) is in the Active Effects tab. It means that PC's can continually view the time left on all spells and effects, complete with a full description on each individual effect.

So here is my official contribution to the D20 Pro community, enjoy.

Note: In case you haven't guessed already, it is Pathfinder-based.

Let me just say that these are my two favorite dictators as of right now.

    Masterful work!

Can't wait to use them in a couple of weeks!

    Well done!

You import the files as creatures, as that is what they are. Creatures with all of the effects ready for use by the DM. Do it from the library and select "Import" while in the creatures tab. Select the file from where you saved it and it will go to your creature library.

No problem. Glad I could throw my two cents into the community pot.
Any feedback on tweaking them is sincerely welcomed.

    Great work!!

Now I wish I could copy an effect and just paste it into another character, or if the function was added to export a special ability to an existing character. That would make it even better since I could get the correct player to have the correct skills :)

I went through and saved all the effects, that way I can load them on any token that needs the effect. It took a little time, but not nearly as long as it would to have to do each effect from scratch. I also changed the pictures of the GM Assistants, I didn't want to have to look at two of the most horrible people to walk the planet every time I played.

Feedback on the DM's is very much appreciated.
If you can think of anyway of improving them let me know and I'll see what I can do.

    Much obliged,

A very big thanks for this! As my players are hitting 7th level and things are starting to get more complex. This is a life saver.
Do you make it a public token so all players can use it?

We thank you Great General! *bows* *bows some more and exits from forum*

Re: Your very own assistant DMs (a Gandolfi Feesh contributi

All druid wild-shaping abilities now available on Kim Jong Il.

    Slight reshuffle of ability locations:
Power Attack now located Kim Jong Il's 'Per Day' ability.
Wild shape replaces Power Attack in 'Per Initiative'.

If you have some spare time on your hands, save all the effects. Since a public option now exists, a simpler (and less time consuming) method is available.
When the Assistant DM's are assigned to Public (Highlight them and press 'o'), PC's can freely access them.
I usually leave them on the north eastern corner of the encounter map.

Links containing the updated characters shall be updated in the near future,

This Kim Jong-Il link seems to be broken. I get stuck in a loop whenever I click the download button it brings me back to the waiting page and never opens the file.

Eek, I'm having the same problem with the looping download page. I'd really like this, as a friend has used it to great effect!
