so, if this forum isn't used... how are games found?

Say, I just noticed a 0 post count in this game lobby, which looks like it is set up for users of D20 Pro products to find games to play in...

but, it has no posts in it.... so, I'm wondering, how is it that players find games? I know that personally, I was planning on using this with a group of friends that I already know... so we probably wouldn't have used this forum either... is that how EVERYONE is using it? but.. what if you run into a situation that one of your regulars drops out of the game and you need a replacement? it seems like this forum would be the place to 'hook up' DM's with Players, yet... there are no posts here.

anyway, I'm curious, is there no 'community' games that go on here? is this software mostly just used in individual gamer groups? is there another place that D20pro users connect to play games that I'm missing perhaps?

    JWolf,

You are mostly correct. This community is still in its infancy and d20pro is honestly not as well known in the industry right now as other VTs. We are working to change that, but you are on the forefront of our customer base - an early adopter so to speak.

Having said that, yes - d20pro is mostly used by groups that know each other. That doesn't mean that it's not suited to all forms of online play - it certainly is - it's just still a bit young, that's all.

If you have a game slot open, please post it!
