Trial Version Questions

Could be just a newbie here, however I am playing around with the trial version to see if I want to buy it or not. However whenever I am trying to import jpeg images or png images (or any image for that fact) I am getting an error saying : "Not a valid MindGene file format. Invalid packed directory." Is this just because I am using the trial version?

Secondly all the items I post are just daggers and have no actual image. Shouldn't these be pre-loaded? Or have some simple downloadable feature? Someone told me I need to photoshop my own images...but then again it brings me to the above problem.

Maybe there is some magical method to solve this...i would appreciate any help. Thanks!
