Was wanting to ask how would people here handle building a Manyshot feat attack in the 3.5 rules in d20pro?

Here is the feat and how it works.

Now here is the problem. All of the arrows are one attack roll. Each arrow gains is bonus to damage from say a magical bow or a rangers favored enemy Only the first arrow gets it damage multiplied if it scores critical hit. So if you want it set up to keep track of say a buff spell that helps. What do you think is the best way to build out this attack in d20pro?

    Thanks

    Character Attack
-4 for the attack penalty per feat, +1 for magical weapon = -3 adjustment.
DEX/- : Indicates we are using DEX MOD for TO HIT, and no Ability MOD for DAMAGE since we have the additional damage as part of the weapon damage, see below.

Editing Damage on Attack to indicate two sources of damage. One for each Arrow, on this ManyShot.
+3 damage: +2 from the STR MOD and +1 for Magic Weapon

    DM authorize hit.

DM authorize damage. Note there are two lines for this Many Shot, one for each arrow, using one attack roll to see if it hits.

Good example, but you forgot one thing. On the weapon damage part you have the damage set up as "piercing". Should it not have been done as "magic, piercing" as it is a magic weapon?

Yes, you are correct. Magic and Piercing should have been selected as damage types.

And, the bonus question.. Why doesn't my demo creature meet the prerequisites of Many Shot?

10 Strength, so shouldn't be able to use the bow for extra damage. 10 Dexterity, need a 17. BAB a 3 need a 6.

I have discovered that the extra arrow damage has to have a diffrent weapon damage listing or it will also have the critical effect applied to it when it the judge selects the critical hit button. Manyshot only the first arrow gets this, not the follow up arrows. Also manyshot requires point blank shot, and manyshot has to be fired within point blank range 30' or less, so need to add +1 to hit for that, hehehe

Ah yes.. Critical attacks and damage. Here's an easy way to solve this.

Create a new damage line, as appropriate, and only apply the damage when a critical hit is confirmed. Use the "hit" button, not the "Successful Critical hit" button... just inform your player "you critically hit your opponent, piercing [description here]" :)

Just be sure to deselect that line of damage for normal hits, or your players will be extremely happy :p
