A question about markers

    Can a player see markers on a hidden portion of a map if the Dm has set the marker to visible?

    Yes.

    Here's what a player will see on their screen (The black portion is under the fog of war). And the red dot is the visible marker.

    thanks for that. I am planing to put all my box text in markers in advance to speed up play so now I know to have the visibility turned of on the marker until players enter the room
