I feel like I've just seen Jesus walk on water, then asked him to walk on lava as a follow up.

Thank you to all involved with the bestiary, it is a dream and has breathed new life into our campaign.
My question is what is the status with the Bestiary 2?
Has some poor soul taken upon himself to lay the foundations of it? If so when can we expect a completed version?

Keep up the good work guys, amazing what we can achieve when we all pitch in

If you are talking about the Bestiary stickied at the top of this forum, that is all my work, and a lot of work it was. I have been reworking bestiary 1, getting all of the attacks, skills, abilities and everything rework so there are no errors. Some of the creatures can take 2 to 3 hours to do and I have lost a lot of interest in the project due to that fact.I could do it really fast but it would be really sloppy like the original version, and I do not want to do that. So in all honesty I will probably not do any more updates to it or any other bestiaries as the amount of work it takes for me to make them to my satisfaction is just to much.

I've starting working on the Bestiary 2. I am using Herolab and exporting it for D20pro so I can import them into D20pro. I have started with A and will work my way down the list. Hopefully the herolab Bestiary 2 monsters are correct and they will not need to be edited at all.

If anyone else is working on this also let me know so we don't duplicate work.

It depends on what level of accuracy you are going for as to whether you will need to edit them. If you use CMB and CMD in your games those numbers are usually wrong upon import a lot of the times and D20pro will not know that CMB need to attack CMD. Same goes for any type of touch attacks and attacks in general, a lot of those will be incorrect. Skills will very from creature to creature but for the most part will be off a point here and a point there. If you are going for completeness as I am doing in my revision of the Bestiary 1 none of the special attacks or special abilities will transfer over from Herolab to D20pro and that is what is the time consuming part for me, Angels,Demons ,Devils and Dragons and such all have a lot of special abilities and programming those all in with full descriptions as I am doing can take a lot of time.

If you are going for the quick and dirty export as I did with Bestiary 1 it is a easy process, it just takes a little bit of time.
