I'm going to DM my first game ever and decided on Call of Cthulhu D20 (I love the horror aspect). I was wondering how well d20pro would handle it.

You shouldn't have a problem. You will want to edit the Skills.txt and class.txt files to use CoC material. I would just back up your old files (located in the d20Pro\dm\res\ManuallySpecified folder).

I wrote up a guide to customizing your data files on our Online User's Manual: http://help.mindgene.com/customizing-d2 ... ustom-data

Once you have customized the text files, restart d20pro and your data will be available for using. Also, please post your files on the forums so other CoC users can benefit!

Gonna necro this post (seems kind of appropriate, considering the subject matter!)

I've attached data files I've made for Call of Cthulhu, d20 version.

The only tweak I have found is you will have to override the BAB on Offense Option characters after 4th level.

And the last file, can only attach 3 at a time.

Thanks, Wynter! I've been thinking about running a d20 CoC game down the road, and this definitely saves me a lot of work.

CoC D20.I have had the book for a long time and am a huge Cthulhu fan. I might have to try it out with a mix of Pathfinder possibly, Cthuhlufinder sounds like a good name.
