    Hello,

What I would like to see is a way to configer the files for feats, skills, and classes by the compaign I am playing in. Example Exodus (Post-Apocalyptic), D20 Mafia, Arcanis, etc... Having everying in one file and it all pops up at same time I had to be creative to know what I can use and cant for each compaign, a way to select would be so nice...

That's actually something we are looking into for our next major product. One workaround would be to install 2 separate copies of d20pro - one for each campaign.

I am still learning the system but I have discovered a way to do this, at least with the feats. I haven't checked it with the other text files yet and I don't know if the same search feature works for them.

I have entered a "tag" in the text file for certain feats. Metamagic feats to be precise. When I open a character/monster, and I'm looking for a feat, I type metamagic and it lists all the feats with the word metamagic attached. I have also added a code for source books, since I restrict what books my players can use. For example the player's handbook is simply PH. If I type this into the search line, it lists all the feats this tag is associated with.

Just an idea but so far it has worked for me. Although I am still in testing mode and haven't even purchased a true license yet. I want to make sure I can use it the way I want.

Excellent idea. It takes advantage of our new filtering/search function. The suggestion I gave before mainly concerned our product before that was available (it was one long alphabetized list). I would love to see your feat list.

    Re: Campaigns

I want to add my voice to this chant!

We'd really love to be able to pull graphics from a single set of directories for shared images, map, and paint objects!
(I have over a gigabyte of duplicated images assigned to each of four folders during development of 3.5, Pathfinder, and 4E campaign maps!)

And, it would be so great to be able to save creatures and maps to searchable subfolders so that we could keep our campaigns separate but accessible and avoid further duplication!

And, then while your at it... :) put in a single drop down box that would control the text lists used for feats/skills/spells/etc, or better yet put them all together in a single big file with if-then statements to make us all better human beings!

    But, that's just me...

Thanks JD, I'm forwarding this to our barrel of monkeys in the back. Hopefully, they will randomly bang out the code you want.

    :)
