    Hello d20Pro community! Ever wondered how to change the Status Overlays when a character has 0 HP (disabled) or when a character has negative HP (dying)?

    Here's how...

    1. Locate the following directory....

    64-bit OS
    C:\Program Files (x86)\MindGene\d20Pro\res\img\status

    32-bit OS
    C:\Program Files\MindGene\d20Pro\res\img\status

    2. Edit any of the following images using your image editing software title and change the image to your liking.
    disabled.png = 0 HP
    dying2.png = -1 HP though -9 HP
    death1.png = -10 HP
    effect.png = the icon that appears on the creature which has a status effect placed on them.
    facing-arrow.png = facing
    immobilized.png = when player is Held (using Right-Click, Alter > Hold/Release)

    For me, I like to differentiate the representation of dying and death more than using transparency. Also, I felt the disabled image (when characters are at exactly 0HP) could use some updating also.

    Preview Dying:

    Just in case you want to revert back to the standard Status Overlays...

    Heh, that disabled one was the first image I used, then I thought it might not be very politically correct, so it was changed to a "Red Cross" kind of thing!

    :p

    Yes, I can see how that line of thinking can influence decisions.
    International symbols are really easy to understand and are generally well accepted.
    It's a shame not all the conditions in the PHB are as easily identifiable with an international symbol.
