d20Pro Pathfinder Pregens

I have re-created all the of the current (as of 11/18/11) pre-generated PC's available from Paizo in Hero Lab. I then exported them from Hero Lab into d20Pro format (.hld20pro). Then I imported them all into d20Pro and tweeked them a tiny bit and exported them into native d20pro files (.d20_ctr). I also created three a d20Pro maps one for each level (1st, 4th and 7th) and placed placed all the PC's for that level on the map and then saved the d20Pro maps (.d20_map).

These PC's are NOT perfect.

Let me say that again.

These pre-gens are broken.

Paizo admits that the PC's are not perfect. And by not perfect I mean several things. Some of the PC's have not spent all their attribute points (usually they have 5 build points left), about half have no traits, none of them have a faction (no big surprise there), several of them have MORE feats or skill points than they "legally should". I'm sure there are many other "issues" with these PC's. However, when I asked at GenCon about this (I wasn't using the pre-gen, but someone at my table was) our judge passed the question up the food chain to on-site Paizo staff. We were told that this question had been asked before (apparently the original pre-gens were broken too) and we were told to use them "as-is" and not to update them or fix them.

I'm guessing that if you were to take a pre-gen and "make it your own" you could fix it and spend the rest of the build points and so forth.
