d20Pro Road Map

    In the future this will contain a list of current features we are working on, features we plan to work on and possible status updates.

    Items listed here are NOT written in stone. We may have a feature in development and find out it will not work or causes issues with other functionality. So it is possible for a feature to be removed at any time.

    This is just so our users will have the ability to see what is/may be coming to the next version of d20Pro.
    The following post will be updated periodically to list the features in development and possible future work.

    Remember these are not guarantees that they will appear in the software.

    This thread will be locked and only editable by d20Pro staff. If you would like to comment on them in either Feature Request or General Questions whichever seems more appropriate. Thank you.

    Road Map as of 12/6/2011

    In The Works:

    • Dynamic Fog of War

      • View based on current creatures light sources and vision
        Possible 50% on map already revealed but not in Line of Sight
      Lots of updates to the Marketplace.
      • ability to change rule sets. We will have rulesets you can download, that way we can have one spot to hold them all
        Launch the marketplace inside d20Pro



    Possible Future Features

    • Updated Spell System

    Here is a list of updates that should be in the next release 3.0.2

    • Marketplace improvements
      • Can launch from inside d20Pro's download setion
        Can have Creatures, Maps, Handouts and Manually specified files in products (will allow us to put game rules in the marketplace!!!)
      Improvements to Tile Manager
      • Tile Visiblity can be toggle directly from the map
        Tile locking
        Improved Tile editing
      Swappable Skins: Not easy but doable, requires editing a .jar file
      Bug fixes
