In my game I have local players and internet players.
My local players consist of Readied Actions ( Rolls made, damage done numbers) and players that wait for their turn.

A quick attack damage key would forgo the to hit and just allow me to damage the target. An instant miss will track the miss.
This will also work with spells and other thing that hurt targets.

The players that wait I have time to simulate their actions and modify them as they do them.

    • This feature already exists...
    • Select the creature or creatures that you wish to apply damage.
    • Press the "D" key on the keyboard.
    • Enter the number of HP you wish to damage the creature(s).
    • Click on the green check mark.

And, if you wish to heal creatures, use the previous steps replacing "D" with "H".

It does true, but it is DM damage and not Player damage, is it not?

If I wanted to watch a log; damage by character, it would need to link to the character.

    A bit of humor...
At a table game, if you are the DM/GM/Judge, and a player tells you the damage of an enemy takes... do you let the player apply the damage on your sheet keeping track of HP/status effects of enemies? Or, do you write it down yourself? Is this not the DM applying the damage? :p Relative semantics.

So, your renamed feature request is: Judge mediated damage between two or more creatures.

    How it would work:
    • Judge selects the creature(s) affected by some effect.
    • Judge presses "D" or "H" key on the keyboard (depending on if they want the log to show "hurts" or "heals").
    • Judge enters the appropriate value.
    • Judge clicks on the "Judge" placeholder graphic in the Action window, then clicks on the creature who initiated the action.
    • Judge presses the green check-mark on the bottom to apply the effect.
    • -Game Log will display the appropriate outcome.

I am not sure you understand my point.

But after some thought it is not required to run a game.
Keeping it simple may be best.

Take-home point, my perception from above posts:
A quick way for the Judge to apply damage to creature(s) where the game log displays another creature (most likely a player's character, but not limited to) as the attacker.

If this is the point you are trying to communicate, the proposed renamed feature request will handle it.
    Game Log:
    Code:
Markus hurts Thug for 24 damage.

If this is not the feature request you are aiming for, I'm still interested in what you had in mind. Could you outline how you would like your feature to function?
