As both the Description and note fields are see able by the players...

How about field for DMs to enter stuff.. aka.. the NPC strat. Things that the DM can note down from an adventure so they don't have to cross reference from other places.
Or say the player wants to put in a player secret that only the player and DM know.. it could be put in there also.

Description = All users can read the description.
Notes = Only GM and assigned Players can read the notes.

Thus, if you have a NPC and want to put a NPC strat... place it it the notes tab. I do this with every single PFS game I develop. Do not share the creature with any Player.

Is there something more you would need? Like a GM notes section for a creature that has a Player ownership that you want to keep secret GM notes? Or does the above match your goal?

It still would be nice to have a GM note field. Say a character meet a NPC for a casual encounter but 3 months down the road their paths would cross and it would become more serious. Or, they found a magic item that had some quirk on it that they wouldn't find out until they researched it more throughly (or just used it in just the right situation that activated the quirk).

This could all be kept on the character on a tab that they couldn't see (even when they had control of the character).

Okay never mind.. I read on one of the pages that notes were being broadcast to players also...

But as you say... an extra field on player controlled characters would be nice as well... say the player unknowingly has a cursed item....or something like that.

yeah, have to agree on this one.. would be nice and simple to have a judge toggle to allow or disallow the non judge controlling users to be able to see the 'notes' field. that way as stated above, the judge could keep specific GM/Judge only notes about the character and choose on the fly whether or not the controlling person can see that or not.. so you could keep plot/curse/secret info there..
