Drain Energy

    While playing my Pathfinder game the party fought some Vampire's with energy drain and it wasn't until the combat that I realized I don't know how to handle a level drain. Has anyone dealt with this and how did you handle it?

    Re: Drain Energy (negative levels)

    Negative Level
    -1 Base Attack Bonus
    -5 HP (this includes max HP also - but this is not tracked - if this negative level brings the person to 0HP, that creature is staggered, if this negative level brings the person to negative HP they are unconscious)
    -1 to all Saving throws
    -1 to all Skill Checks
