Two situations came up last night during our play and we are unsure how to apply it in d20. Any help would be appreciated.

Grapple: Do not see Grapple as an effect. Are we missing or do we create ourselves?

Sorcerer spell slots: How does this program maintain spell slots usage?

    Thanks for your help!

First Answer. Grapple needs to be created as an effect and then saved for later uses. The Status will not confer any modifiers.

I am not as familiar with the Spell function for Sorcerers, but the software does handle spells ad their use. Once you use a spell, it should disappear from the spell list on the PC. Once all of the slots are consumed, they will be replenished wen the GM "Rests" the character (there is an actual rest option). As for choosing spells for slots, the GM has to make that happen in the Edit Function on the characters sheet. It is a GM only function.

OK, I just worked on a Sorcerer. It does manage the spells and uses per day for you. Select the # of known spells, and the system will let you cast the allotted quantity per day and make them unavailable in your spell selection when you run out of casting slots. Pretty simple. The system takes into account for the Casting Stat and the Level of the Sorc.
