Maybe I am just being dense but on the General tab of a creature the check box for initiative override. I know that can be used for nonstandard initiative for other game systems. Can you use it to add the Improved Initiative feat (enter a number equal to Dexterity modifier +4)?

When you click init override put in the whatever the characters full init modifier is.

It is used for 4e since init changes with level.

Also In pathfinder you have traits, weapons enchantments, feats, etc. that can modify init.
