I have been using D20pro for about 2 months and I have discovered something. Upload speeds matter when trying to host bigger games, if I have 600kb to 1.2 Mb maps that I am sending to with 6 or more players, my 765kb upload isn't handling many players. My connection speed is 6Mb Down/ 765kb Upload DSL package and when I get 7 people in the game (6 players & 1 Judge) the connection becomes unstable.

Is there a way to host on another remote location that has a better Internet speed?

I am just stuck dropping the DSL and going with cable which offers the better upload speeds. I am playing 40 bucks a months after upgrading from 512kb upload to 765kb as that only added the ability to put one more player in the room without it dropping all the time. If there isn't a better alternative then I'll do it with the penalities incurred so I can play a better game with 9 people in D20pro.

BTW, great product, I run a game every week without a hitch, 4 - 5 players are good, but I want to bump it up to 6 - 8.

You might try Infrno. It is a remote host and has compatibility with D20Pro.

    http://infrno.net/base/welcome

It is currently in Beta so it is free.

As a caveat, I have always hated DSL and am all about the Cable, even though Comcast is evil. I guess in this case, Evil is Good!
