Right now our GM has to add special attacks for each PC by hand himself. This is time intensive. We use Hero Lab and export out d20Pro xml files that he then imports into d20Pro. Is there a way for him to give us the ability to edit our tokens such that we can add our own special attacks? We can add custom dice using the roller but these rolls aren't checked against an enemy's AC, so this isn't a great solution for us either. What we really need is for the GM to be able to let us modify our tokens and add our own special attacks and maneuvers. Really we just need to be able to edit our tokens (with his permission).

    Thanks,

Currently only Judge/GM licenses can edit characters. Thus, if you would like to edit a character you will need to have a Judge/GM license on your computer and start d20Pro and select Judge. You can then edit any creature you have on your computer. When you are done, you can simply login as a Player to your game and upload the new character to the GM using the creature transfer feature.

This post would be much better suited in the "Feature Requests" topic, however, there is already one there regarding this very issue.
Topic Post: Allow players to edit character (Board index ‹ d20Pro Software ‹ Feature Requests)

Proposed solution: Spend 30 bucks per PC instead of 10. Or buy Herolab access with each PC. Judge spends 30 bucks on copy.

    Answer Rating: Weak.

The truth is the devs have said they were working on something towards allowing PCs to edit their own chars in-game on the judge's client. Edwards solution is the best solution simply because its the only one. You're just going to have to wait until they finally do, and you can enjoy spending all that money on stuff you wont use in the future once they release an update that solves this annoying issue.

Herolabs is okay, but it has issues. The best solution (right now) is to have each PC spend 30 dollars and learn the Software enough to edit their own chars, Herolabs works but for advanced games it has trouble.
