[Outdated] Pathfinder Essentials for d20pro

    We now have a Pathfinder page on our help wiki. This currently includes replacements for the core ruleset files: classes.txt, feats.txt, spells.txt, and skills.txt as well as some information for handling 0-level spells.

    Many thanks to Songlinewizard for starting this project, and huge thanks to Mobius125 for doing massive work in getting the classes file updated!

    I made some updates to the Pathfinder classes.txt file.

    Notably, I fixed the Adept (spells were not Capitalized). It works now!

    Also, I added #spells known to Bard, so selecting spells should work right now.

    Update 12/31/2010: updated spelling on one spell "Negate Armoa" now corrected as "Negate Aroma" (13.34kb)

    12/26/2010 - Updated New Version (craft/profession/perform skills now work) 3.66kb

    01/06/2011 - Combined Craft Perform and Profession as one skill category to make space for finding skills in the skill tree when using the Skills Window. (can download here) 4.72kb


    06/08/2011 - updated to include Languages - 5.54kb


    10/11/2011 (can download below) - Updated due to Hero Lab Updates in the export file and cleaned up the "Skills" "K" menu for selecting skills. Re-format of knowledge skills. New Skills added from Ultimate Combat. (5.67kb)

    New Version: Updated info to include Pathfinder Advanced Player's Guide published August 2010. Note: this file still needs updating, however, it will provide a primer to any Pathfinder Style Game. (62kb)

    Do I have to copy over the regular 3.5 files with Pathfinder? Is there a way to install it in addition to what is already there?

    Update to feats.txt file.

    Updated 06/08/2011 - 625 Feats (16.35kb)



    Update 08/21/2011 - adds 255 feats from Ultimate Combat (22.59kb)



    Simply duplicate the 3.5 folder and rename it to Pathfinder. Then replace the files inside the Pathfinder MannuallySpecified folder.

    And what if I've accidentally replaced the 3.5 folder with the Pathfinder ruleset? How can I get another copy of the original 3.5..?

    You can just download D20PRO again and reinstall (after backing up anything important of course) and the files should be there again.

    There's an error in the Oracle Class: it uses Wis for casting, should be Cha.

    Anyway to get the skills, feats and classes from Psionics Unleashed added? I get an error about Autohypnosis skill every time I import a character from HeroLabs.

    All you need to do is go into your skills, feats or whatever file and modify the file by adding the name of the skill or feat.

    This would mean either mining the data in the herolab file OR getting my hands on a PDF or hardcopy version of this book.

    OR

    Anyone with the book can post the following:

    Spells (powers) List:

    Skills List:

    Classes
    - base attack bonus at 20
    - will, reflex, and fort save bonus at 20
    - spells/powers available at which level for each class

    This may be a bit dense, but the document I am downloading from the front page of the wiki shows files dated back in February. Are there new files hiding somewhere that are from the June update mentioned a few posts ago?
