If you are looking for portraits, a great place to find them for personal use are art sites like Deviant Art, WoTC, and your favorite artist's personal website.

Then you only need to crop those pictures to a square image (X by X).

The easiest tool for that is probably Google's (free) Picasa 3: http://picasa.google.com

Picasa automatically detects and categorizes the pictures on your computer as you add them or download them, so you don't have to go hunting for them. Open up Picasa and navigate to the folder that has your original images.

Next, double-click on the image you wish to crop. In the new window, choose Crop.

Then hold SHIFT while you drag a box around the part you want to keep. You can move or resize your box after you place it.

Choose Apply when you are satisfied. Go to File, Save a Copy if you wish to keep cropping more tokens from the same image (and then choose Recrop) - or if you don't want to damage your original.

Finally, Undo all changes if you are keeping your original image intact. Click Back to Library and you will see your new cropped token, ready for d20pro.
