I was demoing the other day with friends and couldn't quite figure out how to use the Ready action feature. Could someone walk me through the "official" way this feature is to be used?

    Thanx,

    Kizan

    GM: "Your turn Player 1"
Player 1: <moves character> "I ready an attack if someone goes near me" <click's the "Ready an Action button on the top>
GM: <moves enemy near Player 1>
Player 1: "ok, I'd like to use my readied action"
GM: "OK" <clicks on Player 1's character> <presses "G" button> "Go ahead and take your readied action"
    Player 1: "ok, I attack!" <attack option>

Why is it that the person that set off the readied action gets the readied status too? Is that the remind me that they don't get a full action when init returns to their turn? That could get a bit confusing if there are many readied actions that are all queuing off of each other.

    Thanx,

    Kizan
