I'll send this up to T (Owlbear), might be something with the reg server...

If you have a firewall or security suite running, I'd suggest disabling it for a minute, and trying to register.
The reg server appears to be operating normally.

Tried that with still no results. Not even sure if its the router.ok, so Canyouseeme.org says that it can't see my service on port 80 due to connection timing out.

Set up the registration through another friends computer. But at this point in time, it may as well be worthless. He's GM for our game. We want to connect by WAN, but neither of us can get computers to connect. Just found out that CenturyLink does not allow port forwarding from routers for residential customers. Such BS. But should I need to port forward if I'm trying to connect to him?

Ok. So after all of this, turns out I didn't need to do much at all. My friend was the one who needed the open port, and the right IP info shared. We got it worked out. Thank you. End of Thread.

not sure which modem/router you have, but CL does allow Port forwarding.. Since the port forward operation is handled by the router, it would be very hard for them to stop you from doing it.. Now, they very well could have that port Blocked, but you could easily use some other port that is not within their blocked range. http://internethelp.centurylink.com/internethelp//modem-c2100t-adv-port-forwarding.html

If CenturyLink is giving you some speel about that only being an option for Business clients, I'd seriously consider a new ISP.
