It would be nice to see the ability to ad skill mods to the Effects. I had a player that had a potion (i can't remember the name of now) that gave him +2 Perception and +2 Knowledge checks with a -2 to Charisma. I could add the Ability modifier, but we had to just remember he had the other skill bonuses. It was a 6 hour duration.
Being able to add the mods to his skills in the effect would have been nice. (wink wink, nudge nudge, know what I mean?) :D

It is on the list to add skills to the effects system.

The ball, we are on it!

That's great news, will make appying negative level effects slightly easier.

The skills in general need a little work. Need to be able to edit in higher numbers than currently available. Epic campaigns suffer slighty because the point window in the skill tree doesn't go high enough.

    There's work-arounds, but they're work-arounds.

There's times when it would also be nice to have the total skill points/ranks displayed somewhere... although I have no idea how you'd account for cross-class skills, it might be better than nothing.
