    I've been absent from the updates for d20 pro for quite some time now. Up until a couple of days ago I was using a much older version where I had to plug in every spell , effect, trap and etc. it worked for me and even thought it was time consuming I understood how to do it . Well I updated d20 pro and I logged on and I have no idea how to create spells , active affects such as poison , blinded , etc or how to add special abilities to monsters . For example I made a hellhound but have no idea how to add the breath weapon that hits for 2d8 damage and recharges every 1d8 rounds or add that the player it hits needs to roll a reflex save. I've looked at the forums but I'm just having trouble grasping what to do .

    Melee bite +5 (1d8+1 plus 1d6 fire)
    Special Attacks breath weapon (10-ft. cone, once every 2d4 rounds, 2d6 fire damage, Reflex DC 14 for half)

    there isn't a way that I know of to do the recharge timer, however, in play, when I run into this I just roll an appropriate core dice and track the recharge on my notes.

    That is how I would do this operation.. what I have shown here isn't fully tested, it was just a quick on the fly example.

    THe screenshots helped me start to get to grips with the Flow system and that was great. I do have a question however.
    I tried implementing this for the Spell Fire Breath and even though I've set it to use Reflex save to suffer Half damage to a DC of 14, those who get engulfed by the cone template don't seem to be making any saves at all (certainly nothing turns up in the Log) and suffer damage every time. I find it difficult to imagine an entire group of 4 character tokens, one with a Reflex save of 17 consistently always fail the 14 save and take full damage.
    Is there something you set to make every character in the target list make their save separately?

    it'd be really hard to say without being able to see the FLOW you have for it.
    Generally, it is the 'Roll Each TIme' toggle.

    I tried the Roll Each Time toggle. Still doesn't appear to be making the characters save. I've probably made a very dumb mistake. Here are some screenshots I took.

    You need to add a 'Save Type" node to the Effect
