At some future point I would really like to use some physical objects to interact with the d20pro VTT.
I know of software that allows you to 3D print your own bases for figures which a touch screen can then recognize and even detect it's rotation. Any plans for d20pro to support something like this?

I myself am quite fond of the collection of mini figures I've accumulated over the years and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Wouldn't it be great if we could continue to use them in this new format too.
Having the ability to place several character figures on an in-table unit running d20pro and have it recognize and interact with them would be awesome to say the least.

I know they have done some of that in the past (whether or not that bit of code still lives or not, I do not know). Perhaps Owlbear will chime in here and add some info, I'll ask him about this the next we speak as well.
