This is and has been the top requested feature. I'm sure this and an improved spell/ability system are the #1 priorities for the devs right now. That's why they implemented the Google site for polling their userbase. It is what the devs use for making choices for feature implementation. Below are the top 20 requests and as you can see, the devs have been working on FOW. Now that it is functioning, they'll get to the other highly rated and very essential items.

#1 Player should have the ability to edit their own characters with GMs approving the changes. 46 yes votes

#2 Improved spell\ability system that will allow users to create and modify spells and their effects, without having to adjust them every time the caster levels. Also for some feats that change based on base attack bonus, such as Power Attack. 38 yes votes

#3 Marketplace support for specific rule-sets (like Pathfinder) also allowing the rule-set to be updated as needed. 38 yes votes

#4 Make controls for things I am constantly doing accessible on the main screen. Show/Hide are used a lot in my game and having the window for hide/show up takes too much real estate for something that could be put in a toolbar. 35

#5 At the beginning of a turn, DoT/Ongoing Damage should actually show the damage taken and make the "hurt" sound. 34

#6 Effects should save/remember their last Duration and DC without having to add them in every time. 34

#7 It would be awesome if we could "equip" items in a character's inventory, as well as some items being given attacks\special abilities. So if a character equips a Longsword, he'll automatically have the appropriate attack. 34

#8 "Map Layers - FOW, Light, Rooftops. It's a standard thing in image programs and should be in d20Pro.
    See viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1127" 31

#9 There should be a way to track temporary hit points and protections granted from spells, perhaps an addition to the spell effects system. Spells like Protection from Energy absorb so much damage from a certain type. 30

#10 Show open maps, perhaps as tabs at the top (like Chrome) 29

#11 Allow for the DM to attach a picture to the chosen burst or blast that is created by the game tools, to represent fire, ice, aura, etc. 29

#12 Dynamic Fog of War based on Light sources 29

#13 "Ability to have non-square creatures and bigger and non-square items.
    See viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1273" 29

#14 The ability to resize an imported map image to make it easier to match up the grid on the map with the d20Pro grid. 28

#15 The ability to set what negitive hp equals death. It currently assumes -10 equals dead, this should be variable as not all systems use those rules. 27

#16 "Ability to press Space Bar and have a player/DM specific pointer that all participant can see.
See viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1090 for more info." 27

#17 Saving throws rolled automatically by the effect system should somehow let the DM see the actual values rolled (to help with making pass/fail adjustments). 26

#18 "Allow groups of players to ""own"" a token. Allowing multiple players to ""use"" the token in combat if needed. Good for NPC's or for when a player is AFK and the group wants to keep playing.
    See viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1187" 26

#19 The Library needs to have a tree explorer structure that allows for better organization of objects (creatures, handouts, maps etc). This would allow DMs to better use and view the objects they have available. 25

#20 One image file path. Need to have one parent directory that all image files are pulled from for all uses. This way people don't have to keep three copies (or more) of an image file. 25

Here are some responses, if a particular item does not have a response it's because it's currently not in the immediate development or programming stage yet - they are all still on our to-do list however.

In the future we will allow 3rd party developers (yes, that means you) to develop your own character sheet plug-in (extension) that will override the default one and you can allow Players to modify anything you wish.

Partially implemented. Power Attack now works for 3.X and Pathfinder systems.

Done. Rule-Sets can be downloaded and installed via the Marketplace - no need to manually install rule-sets anymore!

Show/Hide FoW can now be done using F6 and a single click. In the future we are working to reduce the number of open windows needed to perform routine actions.

    Done. gogo version 3.3!

    Currently in the development stage.

FoW based on light-sources are currently in the development/programming stage.

    Currently in the development stage.

The d20Pro Menu button drop-down has all the open maps and the GM can switch using the drop-down or by using keyboard shortcuts. We are working on a better way to deal with Players having multiple creatures on multiple maps in development/programming stage.

FoW based on light-sources are currently in the development/programming stage.

    Done! yay 3.3!

In 3.3 >> Map Markers have been improved and now free-floating so your players or GM can create a Map Marker, pick a pointer image and point to your heart's content.

Done. Yay 3.2 and Yay 3.3 for improving!
