Top Down Map Projection

    For those who have a topdown projection system, like:

    We are considering this approach for our gaming table. There was some concern about shadows cast when people move pieces. Is this an issue or a non-issue?

    I ran 5 or 6 sessions like this, and nobody complained.

    Once the new version of D20Pro comes out (if ever!) I am going to try using a Pixy camera to track LED bases on minis. The Pixy should be able to provide both location & direction of the mini so directional line of sight should be possible.
