I am using a Mac with OSX 10.6.7. I do NOT have the firewall turned on. I am using a Verizon wireless 4G connection. Players cannot connect to me. I have no idea what else to check. Any ideas?

Have you been able to solve this issue?

Check out the Port Forwarding section in the Guide, you can use http://www.canyouseeme.org to find your external IP address, instead of d20Pro's finding external IP address step.

There's another guide just about Port Forwarding Guide.

Alternatively check out LogMeIn's Hamachi2 Program to create a Virtual Private Network among your gaming group to play.

If you still are having issues, please provide as much detail as you can about the steps you took to try to solve the issue.

How about the opposite condition. I've been running a game and one of our players switched from a PC to a new Macbook. He can't download. I can't think of anything that has changed except for his notebook. All other PC players are still connecting locally and via public IP. He is located in Korea. Any thoughts?

It seems there is an issue with your player's new computer.

I would first try to make sure it's connected to the internet. Have your player do a web search.

Next, I would find out the speed of the player's connection. Have your player try a speed test, also note the latency. http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest

Next, see if there is a software or hardware firewall preventing the player from accessing the port you are using for d20Pro.
