    I have zero interest in the marketplace. I have not needed or wanted a marketplace for the last two years using MapTools. From a marketing standpoint I can see where it might be useful to add to the revenue stream, but I won't try your product without dynamic FoW. I am perfectly willing to leave what I'm using now for commercial product, but without dynamic FoW you're not competing for my business, and a marketplace of pre-generated material won't change that. I might look at that stuff if I was using the platform, but speaking for myself, you're not going to even get to that point without dynamic FoW.

    Sorry to be stern, I'm not trying to troll. I'm just telling you what I need for you to potentially make a sale. I can only speak for myself, but that's where the priorities lie as far as my business is concerned.

    Has there been a recent status update on 3.0? Is it in alpha, beta, final user acceptance testing, etc.? I don't follow Twitter or Facebook so is there any chance of getting a forums update from MindGene? Or, if there has been one of these already, can somebody linky me to it?

    Tell me about it.....I got a butt-ton of maps i'd like to add to D20pro but I can't unless I revert back to an earlier version of Java......which i don't want to do if 3.0 is coming out soon.

    So here I sit all broken hearted......tried to ...........well, you know the rest.

    Dear Cy,

    I'm using the latest version of Java 6 update 27. Why do you need to revert? It is the create map problem? Curtis posted this solution that I've been using. It's been great!

    Use the Java File Chooser - d20Pro > Options > General > "unclick" Native File Chooser

    The dialog boxes aren't pretty but it works AND I can keep updating my version of java.

    I'll just wait for version 3.0 to fix the problem for me.

    So 3.0 was supposed to be out close to Gencon time......Its 2 months later and no 3.0.

    Starting to seem like waiting for Diablo 3 to come out.........


    Can we expect it this year?

    not that specifics are required, if they are even able to be given, but how does the new version compare. If specifics are able to be given feel free to elaborate. I love juicy beta news! (which really puts a sour taste in my mouth for WOTC's Virtual Game Table cause i haven't heard jack in months and months. So if anybody has info about that as well that would be cool too).

    Currently testing beta 8.
    There's been lots of bug fixes that have been in v2.4 and before that are being addressed in v3.0. So hang in there! :)
